Slaughter of Lamb

Slaughtered Lamb

The lamb is slaughtered, so that the blood is offered to God as a penalty for sin to seek forgiveness.

In the Bible, Jesus is the Lamb slaughtered for the sins of man. There is no need for slaughter of lamb as a sin offering.

Jesus is the lamb who was slain and with His blood he purchased every person from every tribe and language and people and nation (Revelation 5:9).

Jesus is the Lamb who bought us with His precious blood (I Peter 1:19).

Any sin, any tresspass, any wrong doing is washed by the blood of Jesus. Just a word of prayer seeking forgiveness will cure us of all sins.

“Lord, forgive me, I am a sinner. Give me the strength to overcome temptations and to walk in the right path, Amen”

This is a simple prayer that will draw us closer to God!

Pure from Sin!

How to become Pure from Sin?

Sin is an evil that keeps threatening us. To be pure from sin, Jesus gave Himself as a sacrifice for us.

Jesus gave Himself for us on the cross to purify us from sin. Whenever guilt and shame about our past sinful acts overcome us, we have to remember this verse. Jesus has redeemed us from sin and now it is our duty to do good and redeem others by spreading His love.

Learn to say “No” to sin

  • The grace of God offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age (Titus 2-11-14).

Seeking Forgiveness of Sin

Christ Died for our Sins to Forgive us

Sin is an evil that we regret frequently. But, Christ died for us to forgive our sins and to redeem us from the penalties of sin.

  • We were alienated and enemies in our mind by wicked works, but now He has reconciled us by Christ’s physical body through death, to present you holy in His sight without blemish and free from accusation (Col 1-21).
  • He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Is 53).

Christ died for our sins. Jesus forgave our sins when He died on the cross many centuries ago. The sins we commit today is forgiven.

Prayer for Forgiveness of Sin,

Relationships!

Purity in Relationships!

Have purity in your relationships. The book of Titus gives us more information on purity in relationships.

  • The grace of God offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
  • He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good (Titus 2-11-14).

Pray for the grace of God to help you say “NO” to unhealthy relationships. Do not be ungodly or pursue worldly passions. Learn self-control. It is more important to remain pure before God than to please your friend.

Prayer for Purity in Relationships

Lord help me to be remain pure before Your sight. My body is holy and You live within me. Guide me so that I can say NO to unhealthy relationships. I want to please You Lord and not my peers. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!

September-Financial Blessings

Financial Blessings with Tithe

The Bible says, we should honor the Lord with our wealth by paying tithe.

  • Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops. Then your barns will be filled with overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine (Proverbs 3-9,10)
  • “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this”, says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it (Malachi 3-10)
  •   Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6-33)

Lord, we give the best of the firstfruits to You Lord, because the Bible instructs us to do so. When we seek the kingdom of God, all the blessings will be given to us.

Thank you Lord, for your promise to bless us.

Cross: To Break Free from Sin

How to Break Away from the Clutches of Sin?

The atonement for sin is blood, because the life of the flesh is in the blood (Lev 17-11)

Christ came into the world to shed His blood and redeem us from sin. He was beaten brutally, He was nailed to the cross, He was stripped off His clothes and shed His last drop of blood on the cross.

Why is Jesus on the Cross?

To save you and me from sin.

When you are unable to let go of sin and temptation, look at the cross and pray…

Prayer for Sin

Lord, I am unable to let go of my sin. Cleanse me with Your blood shed on the cross. Give me the strength to give up sin. I am unable to let go of my sin by myself. Protect my with Your blood and help me give up sin.

In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Holiness!

Keep Yourself Holy!

Keep your body holy. Keep your conscience clear.

  • My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. (I Cor 4-4,5)
  • No creature is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account (Heb 4-13)

Let us have confidence in ourselves when we stand before God.

Prayer for Holiness!

Lord, You have rescued us from the power of darkness. You have set us free from sin by forgiving us by the blood shed on the cross. Today, I need your help to keep myself holy. Give me the strength to keep away from sin, away from darkness and remain in Your light. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Prayer for Protection from Sin

Prayer to Protect Yourself from Sin

Protect yourself from sin. You need divine help to keep yourself pure.

  • Keep Your servant from wilful sins, May they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless and innocent of great transgression (Psalm 19-13)
  • Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I keep Your statutes (Psalm 119-22)
  • Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Preserve my life according to Your word (Psalm 119-3)
  • Submit Yourselves to God, Resist the devil and he will flee from you ( James 4-7)

Lord, I take authority over the strongholds of evil that are tempting me to keep sinning

Jesus Christ destroyed the works of the devil, to free me 2000 years ago

In the name of Jesus, I resist the devil. I resist all sins and temptations

Lord, Help me to differentiate between good and bad, so that I can keep away from sin

Lord I seek Thy grace to help me avoid wilful sins, worthless websites, filthy thoughts…

Judas and Peter: Betrayal

Betrayal and Repentance

Judas and Peter were disciples of Jesus. Both betrayed Jesus.

Judas felt ashamed of betraying Jesus and for taking money. But, in the end he killed himself.

Peter was also ashamed about the betrayal. But He wept bitterly for his sin and looked up to Jesus on the cross. He became one of the greatest disciples of Jesus.

Many times we sin, but a simple prayer of repentance, and by looking at the cross, we can overcome sin and become free.

Be a PETER, not Judas.

The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins. Look at the cross and the blood pouring down from His body.

Say, Lord, I am the reason for Your suffering. Give me the strength to overcome my sin. I am unable to give up my obsession of sin. Help me, forgive me. The peace of Jesus will fill you and you can overcome sin and temptation.
